Prior to and since her 2017 mayoral election, she has helped attract new housing and business developments, secure grant funding for key projects, increase city revenue, and implement strategies that save the city money.

Konstantine Anthony
Konstantine is the Council Member for the City of Burbank. He has been a SAG-AFTRA member since 2006 and a member of SEIU 2015 since 2019. He has served with the Burbank Advisory Council on Disabilities since 2018, as executive board of Burbank PFLAG since 2019, and with the Burbank Transportation Commission from 2017-2020, resigning from his position as Chair to take his City Council seat. It is through these networks of advocacy that he takes on the issues facing our fair city.

Ricardo D. Garcia
Ricardo D. García has modernized the Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Office, transforming it into a client‑centered, community‑focused institution. Under his leadership, the Department adopted its first strategic plan in over 20 years and launched a major digital overhaul—digitizing more than 160 million records and introducing AI‑driven tools to streamline document and video analysis, improving efficiency, security, and access to public defense.

Nichelle Henderson
Nichelle serves as a Faculty Advisor and Clinical Field Supervisor with the Cal State TEACH teacher preparation program, where she instructs and supports pre-service teacher candidates pursuing multiple subject credentials. In 2016, she was recognized as Lecturer of the Year for her excellence in education and mentorship. Her passion for politics and labor activism led her to complete the Emerge CA political training program in 2015, the Los Angeles African American Women's Public Policy Institute, and the LA County Federation of Labor’s Civic Leadership Academy in 2018.

Holly Hancock
Holly Hancock is the first Deputy Public Defender, one of only two in Los Angeles County to be elected as a judge of the Los Angeles Superior Court. She is also the first Black female Public Defender elected to the bench in the largest county in the nation. As a Judge of the Los Angeles Superior Court, she has served at the Metropolitan Courthouse handling traffic trials and currently presides over misdemeanor trials at
the Inglewood Courthouse.

As a jointly administered labor‑management training trust fund, they provide construction training to signatory contractors and LIUNA members across 12 counties in Southern California through both classroom instruction and practical application. Council Member of District 1 Dr. Jawane Hilton is an educator and pastor dedicated to uniting Carson’s diverse communities to create meaningful improvements in local neighborhoods. Dr. Hilton also founded a school that provides at-risk youth with education and job training to help at-risk youth build a path toward future success.

Dr. Ayanna Davis
Ayanna was named Assembly District 65 Woman of the Year in 2025 and received the AD-65 Unsung Hero Award in both 2022 and 2024 for her commitment to student advocacy and community service. She previously served as a classroom teacher and union member and currently works in early education as a public school principal with the Los Angeles Unified School District. Ayanna is now running for Assembly District 65 to build more inclusive and just neighborhoods across her communities.
