Mayor James T. Butts
Mayor of Inglewood James T. Butts brings more than 50 years of public safety and municipal government experience. His leadership helped stabilize the city’s finances and position Inglewood for economic growth. He also played a key role in bringing the NFL back to Southern California, with both the Rams and Chargers beginning to play home games in Inglewood in 2020.

Dr. Jawane Hilton
Council Member of District 1 Dr. Jawane Hilton is an educator and pastor dedicated to uniting Carson’s diverse communities to create meaningful improvements in local neighborhoods. He is the founder of City on the Hill Church in Carson and serves as Bishop of Brister Baptist Church. Dr. Hilton also founded a school that provides at-risk youth with education and job training to help at-risk youth build a path toward future success.

Dr. Ayanna Davis
Ayanna was named Assembly District 65 Woman of the Year in 2025 and received the AD-65 Unsung Hero Award in both 2022 and 2024 for her commitment to student advocacy and community service. She previously served as a classroom teacher and union member and currently works in early education as a public school principal with the Los Angeles Unified School District. Ayanna is now running for Assembly District 65 to build more inclusive and just neighborhoods across her communities.

Holly J. Mitchell
Supervisor Holly J. Mitchell proudly represents Los Angeles County’s 2nd Supervisorial District, home to more than two million residents. A values-driven leader, she is committed to advancing equity, strengthening the County’s safety net, supporting small businesses, and creating opportunities for every community to thrive.

Mayor Tasha Cerda
Through careful analysis and integrity-driven leadership, Mayor Cerda is guiding Gardena toward the positive change the city deserves. Known as “The People’s Advocate,” she made history as the first female Mayor, and first African American and Native American Mayor in the State of California. Prior to and since her 2017 mayoral election, she has helped attract new housing and business developments, secure grant funding for key projects, increase city revenue, and implement strategies that save the city money.

Konstantine Anthony
Konstantine is the Council Member for the City of Burbank. He has been a SAG-AFTRA member since 2006 and a member of SEIU 2015 since 2019. He has served with the Burbank Advisory Council on Disabilities since 2018, as executive board of Burbank PFLAG since 2019, and with the Burbank Transportation Commission from 2017-2020, resigning from his position as Chair to take his City Council seat. It is through these networks of advocacy that he takes on the issues facing our fair city.

Sade Elhawary
Sade has spent more than 12 years as a youth organizer, recruiting, training, and developing the next generation of leaders in the social justice movement. Now serving as the California State Assemblymember for District 57 in the California State Assembly, she remains deeply committed to improving outcomes for women and young people of color while building Black and Brown solidarity to help transform underserved communities.

Nichelle Henderson
Nichelle serves as a Faculty Advisor and Clinical Field Supervisor with the Cal State TEACH teacher preparation program, where she instructs and supports pre-service teacher candidates pursuing multiple subject credentials. In 2016, she was recognized as Lecturer of the Year for her excellence in education and mentorship. Her passion for politics and labor activism led her to complete the Emerge CA political training program in 2015, the Los Angeles African American Women's Public Policy Institute, and the LA County Federation of Labor’s Civic Leadership Academy in 2018.

Hugo M. Rojas
Hugo M. Rojas serves as the Board Vice President of Centinela Valley Union High School.
